Crowthorne Chess Club welcomes junior players to the club, and over the years many juniors have played successfully for all the Crowthorne teams in the local leagues. We also have a junior section, which offers training in all aspects of the game by club members, some of whom are ECF certified arbiters and trainers.

The junior sessions include:

– help with opening preparation
– game reviews
– endgame study
– ad hoc competitions
– tactics
– simuls by club members
– practical tips
– just playing chess!
