Summer event: Mini Rapid Trompowsky Tournament
Wednesday, 24 July 2019 at 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
This coming Wednesday’s summer event will be a restricted opening rapid tournament. The opening will be fixed with 2 moves (for each player) into the Trompowsky:
1. d4 Nf6
2. Bg5 Ne4
Exciting stuff. Expect varied results.
If this works as a format we could try other fixed opening mini tournaments. Interesting gambit lines have been suggested.
